Miniature Railway Rides
Our new venue Staffordshire Showground is also home to the Stafford & District Model Engineering Society and they have a fully functioning miniature railway within the grounds.
For one day during the festival we are offering each child a ride on the railway. There will also be an accompanying workshop where you can ask questions and see a steam engine up close.
A parent or guardian must ride with under 8s and children with additional needs.
Tickets will be allocated in 15 minute time slots on a first come first served basis but people will be able to choose a later slot if they want to.
Parents must accompany children for the workshops
There may be an opportunity for people to take a second ride later in the day if we have capacity. An announcement will be made if this is the case.
The last train will run at about 16:30.
Suitable for: All ages, adult supervision
**Disclaimer – all workshops are subject to change. We try and give as much notice as possible should any changes or cancellations occur.**
