The workshops at HEFF are an integral part of our festival.
They create an easygoing friendly environment in which people can find new friends and hang out with people who have similar interests.
The workshops we offer range from arts & crafts, to science, engineering and sports – with a whole lot of other activities in between.

Workshop providers are entitled to the following discounted tickets providing they offer a minimum of six hours of workshop activity:
- 1x ticket for the leader
- 1x ticket for their assistant
- 3x tickets for their family members (1x adult and 2x children or 3x children)
These people must be either a partner, parent, guardian or dependent child. Please note that we are unable to provide discounted tickets for the Workshop Assistant’s family members, if the full allocation is used by the leader.
You must ensure that at least two adults are present at your workshops at any given time. This can include parents of children attending the workshop.
We consider all applications individually and look forward to receiving applications for a wide variety of workshops. We will be in touch by email after we have reviewed your application.
Once your application has been accepted, we will email you with discount codes to book tickets for your party. If there is a workshop assistant who is booking separately, we’ll be in touch with them too to arrange appropriate tickets.
REMEMBER: Your workshop is not guaranteed until you have booked your tickets and received the email saying your workshop has been confirmed.
We cannot send the email if you haven’t booked your tickets. It is your responsibility to book your tickets. Tickets have sold out in the past and we cannot keep your workshop spot open if you fail to book your tickets in time.
