About HEFF™ 2025
HEFF is a unique, week long summer festival designed exclusively for home educating families. Run entirely by volunteers, HEFF offers a packed schedule of activities, workshops, and entertainment for all ages. From hands on STEM workshops, arts & crafts and lively sports games to drama, singing, and dancing, there’s something for everyone.
When the sun goes down, enjoy evening bands, DJs, community performances like the fantastic HEFF Allstars, the cabaret and don’t forget the finale. Plus, with a wide range of food options, including vegetarian and vegan choices, you’ll be well-fed throughout your stay.
Tickets for HEFF 2025 go on sale on 31st August 2024. Here’s a quick guide to help you choose the right ticket for your festival experience:
Ticket Types
- Standard Tickets:
This is the perfect choice for those who want to immerse themselves in the full festival experience. A Standard Ticket gives you access to all the activities, workshops, live music, and entertainment throughout the week. Just bring your tent, van, or motorhome, and settle in for a fantastic week. Electric hookups are available for those who need them (book early as they sell out quickly)
- Family Joiner Tickets:
Ideal for family members who can only attend part of the festival. These flexible tickets allow for 1, 2, or 3 consecutive nights, making them perfect for those who may need to work during the week but want to join their family for the weekend or a few days of the festival. Enjoy all the same access to activities, workshops, and entertainment as full-week attendees during your stay.
- Non-Camping Tickets:
For festival-goers who prefer to stay off-site, the Non-Camping Ticket provides full access to all festival activities during the day while you lodge elsewhere. This is a great option for those who want to enjoy the festival but prefer not to camp.
- Volunteer Tickets:
We couldn’t make HEFF happen without our amazing volunteers. We offer WSP (Workshop Provider) tickets, Crew tickets, and key volunteer tickets. Volunteering is a great way to be a part of the festival and contribute to the community while enjoying all the festival perks. Applications for WSP and crew have not opened yet for 2025, but anyone who makes a successful application will receive a refund if they buy full price tickets when they go on sale.
- Low Income Discount:
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience HEFF, which is why we offer a low income discount on Standard and Non-Camping tickets for those who qualify. If cost is a concern, please check our low income webpage for more details on how to apply for this discount.
6. Carer’s Tickets
We offer a complimentary ticket for a person who attends specifically as a carer for a person with disabilities. Please see our Carer’s Ticket Policy for more info.
7. EHU Tickets (electric hookup)
For 2025 we have increased the number of pitches available due to such high demand. You can preview and download the EHU map here.
Only EHU (Electric Hookup) pitches can be pre-booked. If you do not need EHU, you can simply scroll past the map on the booking page and select your people tickets. Please note that EHU cannot be booked without also booking your people tickets.
For those with longer vehicles, there will be some non-EHU camping spaces available in Zone G. Tents are also allowed in Zone G if you’d like to camp near friends, as long as they do not impede on someone else’s pitch and do not share the EHU.
Important Information
- No Day Tickets: Please note that we do not sell day tickets. HEFF is designed to be a full week experience, and we encourage everyone to immerse themselves fully in the festival’s offerings.
- Quiter camping: There will be a quieter camping area without EHU, though its location may change from where it was this year. You can still choose where to camp upon arrival if you are not booking an EHU pitch.
Festival Activities: With a wide range of workshops, live music, performances, and food options, HEFF is sure to keep everyone entertained, no matter their age or interest.
