New entrance and check-in procedures
We hope you are as excited as we are for HEFF 2024. We have some important updates regarding this year’s festival entrance and check-in procedures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
New Entrance Location To improve traffic flow and avoid congestion on the main road, we have moved the festival entrance. This year, you will enter the site approximately 250 metres south of the main gate (which was last year’s entrance) at Staffordshire Showground.
Directions:
- From the south: The new entrance will be on your right, about 250 metres before the main entrance.
- From the north: You will see the main gates on your left, and the new entrance is about 250 metres further along.
- Using Google Maps: Please search for “HEFF 2024” to be directed to the exact entrance location.
Signage: There will be large signs guiding you to the new entrance and away from the main gate.
Check-in Process To help our crew, please have your tickets ready when you arrive. Your tickets were emailed to you when you first booked, and we will resend them about a week before the festival. The email includes a QR code that our crew will scan to quickly find you on the list.
Check-in Details:
-
-
- If multiple people are on one booking and are travelling in the same vehicle, they can all be checked in together.
- If you have multiple bookings or some of your party are arriving in different vehicles, each ticket will need to be scanned individually.
- Each attendee will receive a wristband and one festival guide per booking.
-
Campsite Directions After check-in, our traffic marshalls in hi-vis vests will guide you to your camping area.
-
-
- EHU (electric hookup) campers: You will have a designated pitch marked out.
- Non-EHU campers: You can choose where to camp. Let the marshalls know your preferred area, and they will direct you accordingly. You can choose from two accessible areas, a large quieter area or general camping.
-
Arrival Time Please do not arrive before 12 noon as entry to the site will not be permitted before then. Early arrivals will need to wait in the car park opposite the main gate, which has no facilities, so it’s best to arrive after 12.
Safety and Assistance If you have questions upon arrival, please proceed past the check-in area once you have your wristbands and speak to the next crew member you see in a hi-vis vest. We aim to minimise check-in time as we know you are eager to set up camp. Remember to observe the 5mph speed limit throughout the site and take extra care as children may be playing.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you at HEFF 2024.
Safe journey.
